FAQs

General questions

Do I need to check in for class?
YES! For your first time, please see the front desk for self check in instructions. They will show you how the self check-in works, how to find your bike on the map, and ask you to fill out the first time rider waiver if you have not already done so. Please make sure you always check in, so you are not marked as a “No Show” and charged the No-Show Fee ($15).
How does the waitlist work?
If you’ve added yourself to the waitlist you will get an email confirming that you are on the waitlist. If you get a bike in that class, you will get a 2nd email confirming that you got into the class along with your Bike #. We encourage showing up for class even if you haven’t received the 2nd email. We will always do our best to get you in!
Do your classes expire?
Yes! Depending on the package you purchase the expiration dates vary, from the date of purchase to the date of first use. Please see the package details for when classes expire. We understand things come up, but we ask that you adhere to the policy that’s set per package/membership.
When can I reserve a class?
The weekly class schedule will remain the same, with the exception of pop-up classes and special events. Those classes will be added to the schedule as they develop. Members will be notified via email and social media of any pop-up classes. Be sure to pick your classes and book your favorite bikes ASAP, they go fast! If you see a “W” next to the class you want, that means there is a waitlist. We recommend you go ahead and sign up on the waitlist. Your chances of getting a bike are very GOOD!
How many calories will I burn?
The number of calories you’ll burn depends on a number of factors, including your weight and the intensity at which you exercise. Research indicates that on average, however, spin participants burn anywhere from 500–800 calories in a 50-minute workout.
What’s your cancellation policy?
All class reservation cancellations must be canceled 12 hours prior to the start of your class time or your account will be charged a $11 fee. No exceptions. All no-show riders will be charged a $15 fee. If you are riding with us under a package of classes, and you cancel or no-show, you will not be charged a fee, but WILL lose the class credit. All membership cancellations must be canceled with a 14 days notice.

About the studio

Do you provide anything before or after class?
Water and cold electrolyte beverages for sale, clean towels, a cold towel immediately after class, storage for personal items, a restroom, and merchandise for sale. We have an alkaline water dispenser at the studio. Bring your own water bottle and help yourself! Forgot your bottle? We also have Spin 22 reusable bottles for purchase if you need one. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, we try not to provide non-reusable plastic water bottles. However, we do keep a few on hand in case of an emergency.
Is the room air conditioned?
We LOVE to sweat! When you show up for class, don’t expect a totally cold room. There is always cool air circulating but we are here to work, and want to make sure you come prepared. As the room starts to move and work, things start to heat up naturally. We do have overhead fans that are on during class for circulation. If you are concerned, let an instructor know and they will do their best to position you directly under the fans.
Are your bikes compatible with a specific type of clip?
Yes, our bikes are compatible with SPD clips (not Delta compatible).
Do I need my own cycling shoes?

You can wear any SPD-cleated cycle shoe! If you don’t have any, you may rent clean shoes for just $4 at the front desk OR we offer cycle shoes in studio for sale.

We suggest purchasing a pair of cycle shoes for the best ride possible. By clipping into your pedals, it creates a push-pull motion while you ride, and keeps your knees aligned preventing injury and allowing you to tone more muscles and burn more calories. If you are interested in purchasing the perfect shoe for our studio, we have a brand recommendation and would be happy to help order you a pair at the front desk.

Do you have showers?
No, we do not have showers. We do have a bathroom where you are welcome to change your clothes. We ask that you do not do a sink shower as others could be waiting.

For first time riders

What should I wear?
Activewear or workout clothes are best! You will sweat – so make sure your clothing is breathable and/or moisture-wicking.
What should I bring?
Bring cycle shoes if you have them (you can rent a pair with us if you don’t) and plenty of water. Forget water? Don’t worry – we have reusable bottles and regular 16oz water bottles for sale.
When should I arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill any paperwork, and to give yourself ample time to get acquainted with your bike. Our set-up video below will help you properly adjust the bike so it’s the perfect fit!
